The developer cannot see your notes.

Notes, reduced copies of photos and context (place, weather, activity) are stored only on your device and in your iCloud (private database). There is no developer server.
Recordings stay on your device, are not synced, and are deleted automatically after 30 days (the transcribed note remains).
Text in photos, what a photo shows and the kind of ambient sound are recognized on the device. No face recognition.
Coordinates go only to Apple (WeatherKit, maps, place names). Only when WeatherKit is unavailable, Open‑Meteo receives coordinates rounded to two decimals (about 1 km).
Place names are kept to the neighborhood level; street numbers are never stored or shown.
For a shared link, the page title and preview image (and, for YouTube, the channel name, description and thumbnail) are fetched from that site. The image is stored reduced in size and is never included in exports or shares.
When you correct a place, nearby suggestions are found by sending its coordinates to Apple Maps (the same as weather and place names). Only when you tap “Open in Google Maps” are the coordinates passed to Google. If you don’t tap it, they are not.
Only when you tap “Get summary” does your device read that page. The summary is made on your device. The page content is never sent to a Locista server (there is no server).
No analytics, no ads, nothing is sent to the developer.
To delete your data: delete the app, then Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Storage → Locista.
